A good PDA/Palm Pilot??

I%26#39;m looking for something to replace my paper day planner. I would like to buy the Palm Treo to use as both my planner and my cell phone but it would cost me about $300. through my Verizon plan. I want something affordable that would suit the basic needs. Preferably something with color. Any recommendations??

Answers:

I recommend the 8525 .

You name it, it has it:

PDA (calendar, dates, note pad, addresses, alarm, organization)

Pocket PC (internet access, windows mobile - has Excel, Word, ppt)

MP3 (windows media player)

Cellphone (bluetooth capable)

camera (with 5 modes)

MobiTV - TV programming on your cell (I won%26#39;t kid you... it%26#39;s a little jerky but I%26#39;m sure they%26#39;ll imporve on it)

Outlook or corporate Email can be SYNCed wirelessly (in other words, you can pick up your email ANYwhere.

extra geewhiz features:

stylus and touch control ... better than a mouse

handwriting recognition that converts to type

voice phone activation (say "home" and it dials your home number ... "joe" and it dials Joe%26#39;s number)

you can tether your laptop to the phone to get wifi internet access.

The unit slides apart to reveal a full QWERTY keypad Hewlett Packard makes great products. Their PDAs are the best and very affordable. Yes! I love mine! The price is worth it. I believe the Palm TX is the best Palm Pilot ever made. It has wifi and Bluetooth built-in. It comes with Documents to Go, which has Microsoft Word, excel, and Powerpoint. It also has a built-in MP3 player. You can put the songs on an SD card, which goes right on top. It has everything you will ever need. It usually costs $299. There are no monthly plans or anything because it isn%26#39;t a cell phone. It%26#39;s worth it. It has a really nice color screen too.
