I am thinking of getting a blackberry pearl, what are the pros and cons of having one. Do they do the job they supposed to do or should i stick to my own phone which is a htc p3300 the one with the full satnav. Thanks for your help.

hi bb pearl is a nice looking phone but the drawback is you need to pay extra for emails on the phone as you would need to use the bb rim server the usual charge is around ￡10 extra per month for this feature without it you just have a handset that will make and recieve calls and sms no mms or internet acces this is because you need to have service books sent to the h/s with all the settings in them and these are only sent if you pay to go onto rim if you are willing to pay the charge for this then they are cool to keep track of your emails as you can have 10 email accounts set up on them if you not big on email then prob not the best h/s to go for Why don%26#39;t you do a search for the model, but with review added to it. That will give you a really good opinion. My dad has one it is a cool little machine!! it looks real class and it is real handy to cheack your emails. i love mine it has only one major advantage...it is the only true instant email device. you dont need to log on or push any button like most other device. your email is truely instant. every other stuff isnt that great as its incompatible with windows and most softwares
