Can the new iphone create and edit excel files like the treo?

I have a Treo, but would never switch unless the iPhone can create excel files. They would need to sync with computer too.

Realize the iPhone does not give you access to the %26#39;disk%26#39; (actually just ram). So you save them on the net!
