Can psps get viruses?

Answer:

PSP%26#39;s can get viruses and trojans. There are trojans that, if run, can change your PSP%26#39;s background (harmless some). Some cam, if executed, can remove core files from your PSP%26#39;s flash memory rendering it useless (aka a brick). These viruses are highly unlikely and most of them only come in illegal ISO downloading in P2P/torrents. If you just download movies, music and games from trustworthy sources, you don%26#39;t have anything to worry about.

For custom firmware users, recovery menu gets you out of most viruses and trojan bricks. A few trustworthy sources for homebrew games and applications are at: http://pspupdates.qj.net/ AND http://www.psp-hacks.com/

ThE AvEnGeR yes the can but right now only when you are modding the firmware there is a virus in one of the firmware downgraders ther is a video about it on youtube but if you are not modding the psp there arnt any that affect it
