I don%26#39;t know how to use it. I just got one cause my other cell phone broke and now I can%26#39;t figure out how to call out on it! I am so frustrated!
Answers:
You don%26#39;t mention what model you have. I am going to assume it is relatively recent.
1) Is the screen locked? If so, unlock it. How to do this depends on whether you have a password set or not, and whether you have a full QWERTY keyboard model or a SureType model (two letters per key).
2) Make sure you%26#39;re on the "home screen". You can get there by continually hitting the escape button (next to the trackball) or the end key (looks like a red phone)
3) Once unlocked and on the home screen, try dialing the number you want to dial, then hitting the send key (looks like a green phone) or return. To dial "1", press the key that has a "1" on it. It may also have a letter ("W") or letters ("ER") on it, but just ignore that for now.
3) If that works, great! If not, then you have disabled "home screen dialing. You%26#39;ll have to dial from the "phone" application. Hit the green phone button to enter phone mode. Now just dial the number as before.
4) If that works, great! If it doesn%26#39;t it may be because you%26#39;ve turned off the radio, or you%26#39;re not in coverage. what model do you have? if you want a quick and easy way to get up to speed on blackberry and meet other blackberry users that can help you go to www.crackberry.com go to the newbie forum and click on whatever issue you see that fits your needs. renegade37918 i am on there
