I find PSP mods confusing. I have a blue color PSP whose system software is 3.40 OE-A. I was informed this can play ISO games loaded on the memory stick. But do I need this "devhook" to run such games ? And where do I get it and how is the setup ?

No, devhook is really old and not a lot of people use it anymore, there%26#39;s no use for it. just create a folder on your psp called ISO and place them here. The folder should be created in the root of the memory.
