S Can I exchange my ds at target? w/o recipt?

My friends bought me a ds for my birthday but recently the screen stopped working on the top, there is no ouside damage!! =( ! !_!..

can i exchange my ds at target without the recipt since they don%26#39;t have it!!

its been less than 90 days (exchange deadline)

u guys think i can?

Go to the Target where your friend bought the DS for you.

While checking out, I believe Target scans the price code and also the Serial Number of the DS that was checked out.

With this information, hopefully they can make the exchange, just explain the situation and let them scan in the Serial Number of your DS. Their computer/db should bring up all the information on your unit.

Also make sure to bring all of the box, instructions, cables etc. so they can just take your defective unit and exchange it for a new one.

Good luck. open? Nope. with all my wedding stuff they only allowed me to exchange 3 things per year and I had to show my drivers license. I would assume they would be the same with electronics but you will only get a gift card from them.
