yes you should be able too.did the 2gb card work fine, if it did the 4 gb will work fine too Yeah it i have a sandisk 2GB, not much of a difference, just more space I believe with your version you may have an issue. I have found a link on Sony.com that shows Version 2.7 fixed a issue where some issues of reading larger than a 2GB memory card was happening.
