The curve is a high end personal phone as apposed to the 8800 which is more business oriented.
The Curve 8300 comes with a camera and easy to use software. Sending text messages, setting up e-mail accounts etc are all very easy.
If you are looking to send allot of text messages this is a great phone. If you want a phone with great features but don%26#39;t need the full keyboard I would go with the Pearl.
Either of these phones are light years better than standard phones like the Razor. These have great sound quality, the screens are very clear and the internet access is good (still no PC but it is a phone).
I would get a Pearl or an 8300 just depends on if you want the full keyboard or not. chk this out
