Bluetooth Tech Question?

My husband%26#39;s Bluetooth "smartphone" has reset itself and lost it%26#39;s address book. There are other bluetooth devices in the house, including a bluetooth iMac computer that share the desk with the phone while it is charging. Can multiple bluetooth devices "conflict" with each other and cause a smartphone to crash?

Answer:

Not possible to happen inadvertently. The bluetooth devices have to be trusted and shared appropriately in order to be allowed to sync. It is not possible to have them link accidentally without being paired first.

Data is lost during a hard reset only with a PDA, or manual deletion of the address file. The ONLY other way would I could think of (other than a malfunctioning PDA) would be if he deleted the addresses from his primary sync PC. It would delete the ones from the PDA at the next sync.

The best way to restore the info in the smartphone is by doing a manual sync having the desktop overwrite the handheld. All recent data prior to the last sync is restored.

If he didn%26#39;t sync his smart phone with his computer address book for backup, well I am sorry but that would be plain foolish. I sync mine daily with my desktop computer and that automatically saves to an online account (just in case my desktop crashes and my Palm/ Treo dies simultaneously). it is possible, i also own a bluetooth computer and a phone. try reseting everything and try again. Impossible...Bluetooth has no control over reset or data lost features...what phone do you have.

i brought a bluetooth dongle and i connected it to my computer but how can i send things to my phone from my computer i instill the software but i don%26#39;t know how to send it to my nokia 6280

When you have installed it make sure it is plugged in then a little icon will come up in the taskbar. right click it and choose send item etc... then your file browser should come up up and select the file. If not, then go to my documents and right-click the file you want to send then choose bluetooth and select your phone it should send! I wanna Know Did u installed Btooth Dongle Software. If u installed correctly.

U must activate Nokia 6280 Btooth connection . First got to 6280 Btooth connection icon that one at Extars or connection . then select and activate Btooth on %26 Show my phone to Every one. Then go to ur 6280 gallery and select on picture and go to More there availble send %26gt; Send To Bltooth deviced. U can send to Computer

Go to Computer sofware installed place and Click on the Exe file . Then there availble send file to another pararal Divice . Then click it then u have come Menu . U have to do what u want send it From Place.

Bluetooth?

my pink motorazr v3 didnt come with any cables so i cant connect it to a computer. Does a bluetooth do the job?

Does anyone like browsing the Itunes store? I want to buy something from there but you need to sign up with a credit card and I don%26#39;t trust that. Has anyone signed up and is there any hidden secret charges?

ITunes is trustworthy and secure. There are no hidden charges, you pay for what you buy. u can get a itunes music card and u dont need a credit card, they have them in stores

Can a blackberry be hacked into? If it can, how?

hacking email and data records outside of the BlueBerry yes... But the unit itself without you knowing...NO...to hack a blueberry the hacker would have to have it and pretty much connect it to a system that only law enforcement and private security agencies use that cost 50K+...however, make sure no one got a hold of your blueberry and put any forwarding rules to forward any messages to them. as far as i know, anything that can connect to the internet can be hacked into. how? i don%26#39;t know, but just be careful out there! Any device that has access to the internet, (even through e-mail), can be hacked into.

Can a PDA be used to record lectures / voice?

PDAs can be used to voice record, just depends which models have the ability to do so. For example, the Palm Lifedrive has built in mic. I think it is the only palm that has built in mic but check with pocket pcs too as I%26#39;m sure they have some with built in mic. The Palm Zire 72 has a built in mic and with a SD card you can record for hours, battery pending.
