can I use the wifi that I set up at my house, to surf the web from a wifi compatible/enabled phone or can web surfing phones only connect to their own company hotspots?
Like for example the iphone can surf the web tru at%26t%26#39;s edge network and at%26t hotspots but can it surf the web tru my own hotspot?

your home wifi is as good or better than hotspots!
edge is mediocre. But the iPhone really shines on my home wi-fi.
